I've received a lot of great feedback from some really frustrated Realtors who want a way out of this mess. Seems the message in my newest report really opened some eyes.
After reading "7 Deadly Mistakes Stopping You From Getting What You Want From The Real Estate Business"... a lot of people got the picture and instantly knew they had to do something to fix their real estate careers. But for some, knowing what to do and "doing it" consistently and effectively is another story.
That's why I used the "proven real estate success formula" I developed from years of experience (and good advice from others) to create "The Real Estate Game."
People needed a vehicle to help them apply these "enhancements" on a daily basis. And practicing good habits OFTEN is the only way to break-free from a career of spinning your wheels, and start living a life of prosperity.
So today starts our ""Win A Free Pass To The Real Estate Game" Blog Comment Contest
And YOU could be one of three deserving Realtors to win a Free Pass to "The Real Estate Game."
The winner will attend morning teleconference sessions as a player of "The Game" to get grounded for their day. Just 30 minutes at the beginning of your day... can get you focused on what you have to do... so you can hit the ground running!
Sessions of "The Game" are strictly limited to just 20 players. These players are all accountable to each other for an entire 30 days. This fact is responsible for the dozens and dozens of success stories I've received from Realtors who are loving life after playing "The Game."
Sessions of "The Real Estate Game" take place Monday through Friday in the morning. And these sessions go on for 4 weeks. During this time, the players "game" is really played AFTER the morning phone session. All day long, on weekends too.
Points are awarded for doing specific revenue-generating activities. So throughout your day, you can be racking up points for doing the "right things", and enjoying the benefits of more SELLABLE listings, more pending transactions, and MORE closed deals...
Bringing You The FULL Commission You Deserve!
The winner of each 30-Day session of "The Real Estate Game" wins a Free Pass to attend the next session. And you could be a winner this Sunday, and grab 1 of 3 Free Passes going out to our Blog Comment Contest winners.
Here's how to enter:
1) Leave a comment to this blog post below, answering this question... "How do you think winning a Free Pass to The Real Estate Game will help your career and improve your life?"
2) Leave your name and email address (won't be viewable in public) so we can contact you if you win.
Our "Win A Free Pass To The Real Estate Game" Blog Comment Contest has already started, and runs until Sunday August 30th at 12:01am Eastern time.
Look for an email from me later on Sunday where I'll announce the 3 winners. This choice will largely be based on the improvements they want to make to the way they do business... How they think their lives will improve by getting on the right track and being held accountable to their peers.
When I announce our winners, you'll get more details about "The Real Estate Game."... why it has the power to transform your career... and when we will be opening for enrollments to a limited amount of real estate agents and brokers who want more.
Talk to you soon.

Hello Patti,
It seems that there is this litte cloud that follows overhead...raining more then letting the sun shine through. Keeping deals together these days is more of a challenge then ever before. By being a part of the Real Estate Game I know (form past games) that I will become more focused and get that boost to begin each day. Whatever I commit to in the morning has a much better chance of being achieved with the buddy/accountability approach. I want to be more of a new agent again...going back to the basics and have each day be a new beginning...starting at zero. I want to achieve whatever goal is set for the month and continue with better habits with Patti's help. I know I will have better time management and more time for myself. After all it is all about me...isn't it?
I want to win the Free Pass to the Real Estate Game and kick some...for thirty days...and beyond that!!
Best regards,
Bonnie
Hi Patti,
I beleive that being part of the Real Estate Game will help me to get into a routine that will become second nature - much like the exercise routine that I do now. I did a similar program centered around a commitiment to improving health. We also met as a group and had a buddy. I found it to be empowering to be more in control of my health and FUN! I believe that the Real Estate Game can do the same for my real estate career.
Hi Patti,
I just finished reading your 7 Deadly Mistakes and can see myself in some of them!
I am a relatively new agent who has not quite found her feet. I got into this business with great expectations, while knowing it involves hard work and effort. I'm starting to feel a little hopeless and this is not like me. No, I'm not quite ready for the prozac just yet, but I feel that I am missing some piece of the puzzle. I really believe we have a valuable service to offer our clients, but I need to get in front of them first!
Winning a free pass to "The Real Estate Game" would help me to find the missing piece, get re-energized and do what I got into this business to do: have fun and help people achieve home ownership while making money to help my own family.
Regards,
Veronica
There are agents in my office that seem to be making deals and closing transactions everyday. I want to be one of those agents!! I hired a coach early in my career but it was not at all what I expected and the positive results were non-existant. I accept responsibilty for this failed attempt because I did not give it 100%. I can't afford to do that again!! I really, really want and need to learn the good habits that will jump start my career and put me on track to reach the level I desire. At this point in my career I am dedicated to doing whatever it takes. The benefits I would expect to get from the program will give me the confidence and know how to increase my earnings. This would help to relieve some of the finiancial burdens of supporting my family. I love my chosen profession and want to be the best agent I can be! Being a player in" The Real Estate Game" would teach me how to do that!
I believe that being a part of the Real Estate Game will help me focus on practices and consistencies. The major issue for me is trying to adopt and follow established practices and keeping consistent with those practices in good times and slow times.
I have decided to just proclaim the free pass. It will be mine. (just as soon as you choose me)

One of the most difficult business challenges is staying focused and prospecting continuously. With transactions harder to keep together and my days feeling shorter, priorities seem to always be put on the wayside to other priorities. At least once a week I tell my self "this week I will focus on telephone calls at least 25 per day, knocking on doors 2 times per week, mailing expired’s 2 times per week, paperwork and followup 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon and cleanup in the evening with emails along with some sort of social networking in the evening while on the computer. I have written this type plan down and somehow, sometime, in the course of the first day, everything gets “discombobulated”! I end up putting out fires, talking to people in the office, getting invited to lunch, and my biggest pet pieve, which I really don’t mind doing too much, but having to assit someone who knows nothing or little about computers and just want someone else to do it for them.
I thought about a coach, but that was as far as I’ve ever got.
A challenge is what may give me the edge to keep myself on track. Nothing like a healthy competition to appeal to my inner and outer ego.
I feel busy, but tired. I need to adjust to this market more efficently.
I want to win, I need to win and improve my life starting NOW and not just for me, which I will explain. I have just settled with my wife for the divorce settlement. It was a substantial amount and it was everything I had plus I had to borrow to make up the total amount but at least that's done and over with. Because of the past few years, I am behind in paying my taxes and also took on additional debt while in the marriage because she wouldn't pay anything towards the bills, she just spent.
I own the Real Estate company and as Broker/Owner I should be setting the good example, so by winning this contest I will not only greatly improve my own circumstances ( I need to make $100,000. quickly) but set an example for the other 10 agents in my office.
I can do this - with your help!

Dear Patti,
I want to thank you for the session you provided on the 7 Deadly Mistakes That Keep Us From Success. It opened the door to what can be if we approach this business with the right attitude. I believe that The Real Estate Game pass would give an agent the opportunity to achieve their desired goal in their business and personal lives. Your game requires consistence, persistence and accountability which are all requirements of a winner in any field. I would like to win a free pass but believe you have planted the seed for many agents to break the ceiling that we have thought was holding us back. Knowledge is Power.
Best Regards,
Cecilia
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for entering the blog contest. All of your reasons and comments are awesome. Stay tuned. Warmest, Coach Patti
Good Morning Patti! I'm terrible at taking anytime for myself. I need to be more disciplined. I have such a hard time staying on track, my husband says I'm ADD.... I love helping my clients, but I need to help myself. I need to spend more time contacting my past clients to get those referrals. I need to make more $$$ because my husband had major heart surgery and after being in the hospital for two months, then recovering for two months he was laid off and has not yet found another position. I think winning a Free Pass to The Real Estate Game will help me to stay focused and disciplined so that I can improve and enjoy my real estate career again and when I feel better and am making more money again it will improve my life because there will be less stress for both me and my wonderful husband. Thank you for this opportunity. Warmest regards, Patty
As I progress through my real estate career, I have found it very easy to give myself an execuse as to why not now...and over the years, I've found out that later dosen't come.
Because of those early potponements, I find it extremly hard to rebound from a recent heart surgury. The lay-off for recovery keeps getting extended. The responsibilty of being accountable on a daily basis, I believe will create great strides to being a top producing realtor and bring back the belief that I had over fifteen years ago when I entered real estate."Yes, I can, Yes I will".
I have taken the Real Estate twice before. It did help some. If I was given a third try maybe I could apply myself and have a real breakthrough. I think your game can help to get me organized and focused. So I hope I will be considered.
I am a relatively new agent who needs help in focusing on WHAT I need to be doing to generate good quality prospects with the end result of selling houses. I am sick and tired of running scared and stressed because our household income has dropped significantly because my husband has not been able to find a job.
Being part of the Real Estate Game will help me re-focus on the nitty-gritty of the daily activities of an up and coming successful real estate professional. People are still buying houses despite the gloom and doom of the news. I am going to help put families in the homes of their choosing and be able to support my family in the process.
Thanks for the opportunity, Patti!
Dear Patti,
I wake up and I know what I need to do.
Then I have breakfast, read my email, check my voice mails, take my medications, call my Mother. Now it's 11am and the morning seems wasted so I do some work around the house. Get the dishes done, put in some laundry, feed the animals, fold some laundry, and clean that one mirror, floor, or countertop that just can't wait another minute.
Then it's lunchtime so I call my husband to see how he's doing at work today. It's about this time then I realize I should eat some lunch as to not affect the whole families dinner schedule As I get done lunch my Mom calls me - she's bored. She's going to come over and bring the dog to run around in my backyard. Well, it's my Mom, I can't say no.
I know what I need to do as soon as I get off that phone call. By now though I have more emails. I'll check my personal one as long as I'm at it. I realize that my son will be home from school soon and there is no point in me getting started now. But TOMORROW I'm going to do nothing but work! All day. Lots of calls, mail outs, emails etc are on my mind.
So dinner happens, homework, relax, a little tv, spend some time in my husband's arms and go to sleep.
Then...
I wake up and know what I need to do.
Patti, what I want the real estate game to do and I think it would is break this awful cycle. I love real estate. It's such a rush to give give keys to someone at a closing table. It's such a joy to see someone who has just walked into the house that WOWs them. The real estate game would give me a different rush, the rush of doing more then I've ever done. I admit it, I'm a little competitive and I don't think anyone in the real estate game would begrudge me that. Most people playing a game want to win so they'll understand but the great thing about the real estate game is that there is no way to lose.
How awesome is that kind of game ?!?!?
Sincerely, Pamela
Hi Patti
Thank You for a great Call!!
I want to get back in the game of selling Real Estate! I have been waiting for business to come to me from my past clients and it's not happening. I have to get back to prospecting Expireds and FSBOS and calling my Sphere, Past clients and Networking. I need a plan to follow and a definite routine with some accountability! I have great intentions when the day starts but, I seem to avoid the most important thing making contacts that can lead to contracts. When you talked about contacts to contracts it really made sense that I was working at alot of things that didn't matter as much as making those those contacts! I need the accountability or I seem to procrastinate the contacts. I am way behind my goals this year and playing the Real Estate Game could get me back on the right track again. I really want to win!!!!!

Hi Patti,
I can see myself in just about everyone that has written here. It is so difficult to take the time to make the plan you need to "work". I wake up every morning hoping today I will get all my thoughts and plans i nn order, but I am frankly overwhelmed by the number of items on my "must do" list that I easily settle back into all the activities that are preventing me from becoming what I know I can be. I am seriously ADD with a list that would fill a composition book. We all know that "knowing" "doing" and "planning" are essential, but somehow we never seem to move aside and let our best self win. Best wishes to everybody here. I share your frustration.
We are in a business that has unlimited potential! Most realtors,as I, have a subconscious themostat that doesn't allow us to get to the next level. I know what to do to get to the next level, but if I am doing okay now. always find things that block my progress. I thing accountability partners would be the key toget to the next level. Pick me! I am a racehorse at the starting gate!

Hi Patti,
First off, what a GREAT opportunity, Thank you!
I have been a realtor for 10 years now, doing a fair # of deals, trying to learn as much as possible, but never really getting to the point of implementing what I've learned. My kids are older now and I am 100% ready to take the next step. I know that I can do it, I just don't know how to go about it. I need a system and a plan and I am hoping that this is it! I have two children to put thru college and don't want to let them down...Please Help!

Winning would mean so much to me. I am working hard but running in circles. I am thinking about making major changes. I love people, I love real estate, I have high energy and would like to stop running in circles, wasting my time on people who can't do anything. I really want to stay in real estate but don't you have to sell to be a realtor? At one time I was in the top 20% of a large company and lost my confidence to be there. I would appreciate the help to get back on track. I would love to be there again where every day is exciting and full of positive energy. I would love to quit beating myself up and do what I need to do to succeed.
